I have a Hong Kong PSN account on PS5. 1. When I play games, am I matched with local players? Or Hong Kong players? 2. What is the game service area based on to match players? Can I set it in the game?

EA_cuervo, just to provide you more information, I play ultimate and coop on both EAFC 24 and EAFC 25 in the same console. The issue is only ocurring in EAFC25.EAFC24 shows always 5ms on both ultimate and coop. EAFC25 shows around 35ms in Ultimate, and 120ms in coop.EAFC24 always gets opponents from Brazil, EAFC25 gets opponents from EuropeTested on both PS5 and XBOX One.I run a lot of tests on both version, same day/hour. It's clear to me that the issue is related to EAFC25, something was changed in new version that is broken for us.

Help me please! I'm being paired to europe servers every game on seasons! The game is unplayable, ping is very high!

@EA_cuervo "Aproximate location matchmaking" is already on. Still, game keeps pushing me to distant servers, sometimes it takes less than 5 seconds to find a game, and still it takes me to a distant server. Been strugling with this for a long time now. Is there a way to block server that aren't close to me? That would be so much easier. I rather wait 10 minutes to join a match, than joining a high ping match. It's simply unplayable. Thanks

@EA_cuervo I don't any kind of VPN. I'm currently playing from Sao Paulo, Brazil. When I playing seasons or seasons coop, I always check my last 5 oponents to see where they're from. If I'm in a brazillian server, or some nearby server such as argentina, or chile for example, ping is always good, going from 12 to 30 ping. My last experiences I had with high ping were for the most part against players from US, and some from Europe. Those matches have a 120+ ping. Those games are found almost instantly, so I doesn't seems like the game is really trying to find a better option before landing on these oponents. Was matchmaking always like that? I don't remember having that many issues on FC24.Thanks

Same here, both on XBOX and PS5 with no VPN. EA FC 24 working fine (5ms), EA FC 25 always choosing opponents from Europe, with 120ms. Seems to be a EA FC 25 issue.

EA_cuervowould you help us? I'm pretty sure this issue is quite known right now... Is there a way to fix this? Or should we just accept this is not going to change? It's been almost 5 months in these conditions.

I'm sorry to hear you're still experiencing this problem. Could you please use the EA connection tool and share the results here so we can have a better idea of what's going on?

Thanks for sharing the screenshots. I see that you played mostly co-op seasons. Do you also experience high ping in Ultimate Team?

EA_cuervoI actually don't enjoy playing ultimate team, but yes, I tried playing on UT and the ping was fine. This is mostly happening on seasons mode. Also, Ultimate Team let me see the connection quality before I join the match. If seasons mode had that option, this problem would be solved. My internet is not the problem, since other modes have fine ping.

Have you received any comment on this? I'm still getting the same results as before... Going back to EA FC 24 until this is fixed on EA FC 25...
