Thoughts on the new update?

I’ve been playing this evening since the new update release and I’m struggling to make my mind up whether it’s even a step in the right direction. On one hand it seems like they have addressed some of the issues in the game play and it’s does feel better, but I feel like it’s been done in an incredibly sloppy way. Scoring goals and attacking play has become more fluid and definitely been buffed, but it seems that defending has now gone down the drain. It seems almost that while EA have sorted certain issues out it’s now created a whole list of new ones.

I think I’m going to give it this weekend but I’m starting to think this might be my last year buying EAFC until the gameplay is properly addressed. 

What’s others thoughts on the new update?
