Defending is hard after all the patches. You have to try to control 2-3 defenders by right stick switching. It would be nice if they buffed defending.

We know that you get perfect gameplay though 100% of the time so you don’t really understand the issue to comment.
Yes, defending was made more difficult and manual but what people are experiencing is much worse than that. Switching becomes slow , even when you switch the player then takes an age to get moving, the jockeying and tackling buttons have no effect and your players actively work against you by moving the wrong way.
If by some miracle you win a challenge it will either be given as a foul, it will just bounce on to the opposition or they will turn straight around to get it back.
Don’t confuse the slightly trickier need to manually defend which we could handle with being totally unable to make the mechanics work due to terrible gameplay.
