Seemingly according to Reddit EA have started banning players accounts with an email telling the account holder so.

@blue166I doubt it you cannot believe anything ea tells you it is just lie after lie or they just avoid it all together there is a reason none of the devs communicate with the player base.
The pros cannot even call out ea or ea will ruin there career, mind you most there pros have the mentality of a 10 ten year old.
This is the same dev team who got caught in discord helping Usa & Canadian players cheat to reach major tournaments with no remorse to all the players who should of rightfully been there.
