Can't join non-rush Co-op cross-play lobbies

I play on PC and cannot be invited or the invite fails when I try to join my friend on Xbox Series X. We can invite to and join each other's rush games just fine, but Co-op rivals/squad battles lobbies dont work at all. It either doesn't list me in the available friends to invite, or when I am listed, upon accepting the invite it claims the lobby is full and boots me. I can invite him without issues to rivals/squad battles co-ops, only he can't truly invite me. Please fix this, I would like to be able to play his squad for once.
