Cant play clubs rush or co op with my roommate

Me and my roommate cant play eafc25 together. This is the only game we have this problem on. Other games like cod fortnite nba 2k etc work fine. When we try to play together on ea fc25 we can load in a lobby, pick a kit but as soon as the actual game loads in we get an error message. We only have this with eachother. With our other friends theres no problem. 

can anyone look into fixing this? This was never a problem in the past.
