Controller not connecting since new update

Hi all, 

Ever since the new update my ps4 controller doesn't work. Have turned off all in game overlays, steam controller  inputs etc etc and am running out of ideas. Anyone else having this issue or know a fix for this?

I can only select player profile at start then nothing after that cam only use the x button.
