Glad i wasnt the only one to clock onto this. Although I very much doubt this would be fixed in a later update, considering how late into the game's lifecycle it is and how niche the problem is. The only hope is that for EA FC 26, they remove the limit, even though my hopes for this series to become better have been destroyed. Once Ultimate Team became stale, I would simply add back footballers that had been removed for various reasons, or create unique, gimmicky ones, such as 99-rated vs 1-rated footballers. Even completely recreated the AFC Richmond team from FIFA 23. Now I have to consider which ones to keep. Dumb restriction that never was in place.
