DualSense Edge not working in FC 25 through EA App

Hi, I'm having an issue and hope someone can help.

I purchased EA Play on Steam to try out FC 25 and played with my DualSense Edge controller, everything worked perfectly during the 10-hour trial period. Once that ended, I (idiot) bought the full game through the EA App.(to support the EA :D)

Now, the problem is that my DualSense Edge completely stopped working in the game! Please note that it still works fine through Steam, but since I bought the game via EA App, the controller isn’t supported anymore.

What should I do to fix this? How can I get my controller to work again?
