Eafc 25 lag and ping

My EAFC 25 is getting a lot of ping and lag even though I am getting solid wireless connection. For some reason, it does not work with a wired connection on my WiFi. I am using an XBOX One S. Could this have something to do with it or is there another issue? I already had AT&T replace the internet air hub.
