Uninstall the game from steam and redownload it through the EA app. That helped me and hope it helps y’all!
how do you install it via EA App? I can't find the button to install/download it there since I bought it via Steam.
Tried downloading it through EA app, still no fix in the problem. Any suggestions?
1. Restart your PC
2. Open the EA app and click on the 3 lines in the top left corner, Help, and then App recovery and do Clear Cache
3. Go to Help again and do Restart app
It should work after that and make sure the steam app is closed while you do these steps.

how did you download the game from ea when you bough it from steam it says that you can manage it only through steam
