Future stars academy evolution error

I applied a normal weak foot/skill moves evo to my Future Stars Nwaneri evolution card (because the FS one I obtained through the objectives just seemed to disappear into thin air) and now my card is a green evo card and won't let me upgrade him from 88 to icon status.Had no idea a normal evo would mess that up, should have been a much clearer warning in my opinion! Especially for players like myself, who are new to the evolutions thing. I missed out on EAFC 24 so it's all new to me. Can be quite confusing as your setting out in the game.

I spoke to EA help live chat for an hour or so, but basically fobbed me off saying there was nothing they could do - seems a bit harsh. No compensation or free player pick or anything like that either to ease the pain!

I know it's technically my fault for putting him in a normal evo, but come on EA... a bit of help for loyal customers who spend their hard-earned money on your games!
