game freeze after update

after the latest update every match i play on UT rivals or anything, sometimes the game freezes for a second and then i get low framerate for like a minute and the game feels very laggy. I'm on PC right now and i can assure you that i meet all the requirements to play the game. My wi-fi is pretty solid too
