I cant play a friend how is using Xbox x while i am playing via PC

we can both see each other over the EA application and we can both see that we are playing FC 25 

but in the game itself i cant see my friend under online friends , but he can see me and invite me to play  , only when i do accept nothing happens .

i also cant invite him as i cant see that he is online and i cant even fined in the search friends 

also the cross-planforms is enabled 

we both have the standard edition of fc 25
