So after completing the evos for the imortal hero 94 upgrade, i thought i would add a final cosmetic to the player, however after doing so he lost his icon chemistry boost. Is this somehow an intentional feature or is it a bug? and is there a way to restore the icon chemistry?
Same thing has happened to me and the player is of a nation which is hard to link. The card shouldn't have lost it's chemistry, I'm pretty annoyed by this as I paid fc points for the cosmetic evo, just for it to screw over my chemistry.
A lad on a discord I'm in said it might have been detailed in the news tab in game, but I know I didn't see it at the time and the news article on the ea website that I followed to make sure I didn't make mistakes on the evo did not mention it. I'm sure a lot of people will make this error and even more people over time will do when 94s can be evo'd late game.

From my understanding, players that you evolve into heroes or icons are not the same as the official heroes and icons. They only receive icon or hero chemistry from the rarity that the evolution gives them, but as you will notice, they still have the badge of their current league and club. Whereas the official icons and heroes who are not currently active are on special icons and heroes clubs. Therefore, once a cosmetic, or any other kind of evolution is added to either of these cards, if it is not specifically tailored to icons or heroes, the card rarity is changed, and chemistry is based on the club and league of the player. Because of the special clubs that official icons and heroes are on, they retain this badge, and their chemistry. Players evolved to icon or hero status still have their current league and club badge, therefore they revert to that normal chemistry again. I hope that I've explained well, and I'm sorry that I couldn't warn you ahead of time. All the best to you!
I do feel like there should be an in game warning when evolving a player like this saying. If you evolve me you'll lose the chemistry boost, type of thing.
