ive downloaded the game on steam but it won't appear on the ea app

To add because i forgot to mention, it says "validating" when launching from steam. I have verified the files of the game, uninstalled and reinstalled the game and the ea app, and uninstalled and reinstalled the anti-cheat. my steam and ea accounts are both linked as well. Lastly, if i go to download from the ea app there is no option to, whereas with other steam games i have, i get given the optionfrom within the ea app to install the game.
