I have just complained about this issue you all need to do the same so similar feedback is given or have similar issues for them to upvote
This is what they told me:
Alright so here's the issue you did an evolution Shadow Striker++ which changed the rarity of your player card Ethan Nwaneri from Future Star to Evolution II due to which it is no more a Future Star card which is required to do the final upgrade.
