Packet loss

Question

I have extremely good connection on my PS5, download 800 Mbps and upload 155 Mbps and it works extremely well except for when I play rivals in UT. I experience so much packet loss that the game is unplayable. I’ve done the self diagnosing on connection and I have perfect ping and jitter but 0,70% packet loss and I’ve tried all troubleshoots from SONY and contacted EA help and done everything they asked me to do and still I have constant packet loss.

Any solutions or ideas I can try because this has been like this for 2 weeks and isn’t improving, if anything it’s getting worse

I assume you are using wired (i.e. LAN cable) and not wireless (i.e. Wifi) connection with mentioned stats.

If problem is started 2 weeks back and was fine before that, then did anything changed from your end like ISP, Internet/ router settings etc? Did you try to check with your ISP? Packet loss can be from either end.

To eliminate this doubt, try a different ISP provider or Internet connection. Maybe play a few games on a friends/family internet connection where the Internet connection is different and see if you notice any difference.
