PC Game Freeze then Speeds Up
Hey there, I'm playing FC25 on PC via Steam. I have a mid-high end PC and very stable internet connection (at least when playing other games). The game runs smoothly for me 95% of the time, but every so often (1-2 times a match) the game completely freezes for a couple of seconds then replays the skipped frames at hyper-speed. I doubt its a hardware issue because my PC works great otherwise and this seems like a silly way to display missed frames. I guess it could be a connection issue? but again, this seems like a goofy way to manage skipped packets? wouldn't the game just teleport around and display what it can from the packets it receives successfully, ya know, like traditional game lag? In order to show this sped-up gameplay, wouldn't the server/client have to receive all the packets successful in some way? Perhaps they are retried until successful and the game devs thought this would be an epic way to make the gameplay experience 'smoother', but in reality it just looks more like a bug than packet lag. Also if it is connection related then do I need to be directly wired into the damn FC server? I live in a major city, get 20ms generally and no packet loss... why must the game be so demanding.
Anyway, I hope someone can help because this makes me want to uninstall the game frankly. This footage specifically was recorded from FUT Rivals. Please help. Thanks.
