[PC] Player input freezing every game

true.the prove is that old version of fc is not soo messy and bugged. Less animations and less bug.
the game is so poo. its the worst fifa/fc ive played in a long time.
they have made a mess of the game. fc24 was alrite, they got it running decent by the end, i just dont know what they have done.
bugged like hell, theres nothing new to the game thats worth discussing and they have changed the d-pad tactics which is a mess.
all that on top of the most annoying input delay disaster.
i am utterly dissapointed and really am struggling to find the desire to play it.

- @EllisPrd11 I’m the same tbh they’ve brought out 2 updates and a tune update an still the game has delay in it i enjoy playing clubs but can’t due to my player keeps running in different directions and when I go to sprint he stops and freezes and takes like 3 seconds to start moving again
- @Kyler7 yeah same here bro, i only play clubs and its next to impossible most the time as my players all over the place.
It was ok for a while yesterday morning but its gone pretty bad again now (the inpute delay thingy)

i would actually get my money back if i could. - @EllisPrd11 It’s making me not wanna play the game anymore like this thread has over 80pts surely ea have to see this they will be probably sweep this problem to the side like they always do they will probably fix it last later down the year seems like ea like to fix the small things first like career mode where there’s no money involved in the game mode
@Kyler7 ok so ive literally narrowed it down and realised the time you cant control your player at all is when your holding down R1 (R2 for me as i have custom controls) to control the ai telling them to press.
As im always captain (on clubs) on our team, its always me who has the role to control the ai. And it is definately when your holding this button down. Release it and your back in full control.
SORT THIS OUT WILL YA ITS JUST [Edited]- @EllisPrd11 I don't think it works on clubs because your human players should be defending as well as attacking. It's not in co-op seasons either and hasn't been. Pretty sure it's intentional.
- @lansenyl mate if its intentional then there all stupid idiots. You cant even hold L1 to keep your player in position because he just drifts off.
tbh i dont think its intentional because if it was they would at least make your player stay on the pitch or in a respectable position on the pitch, instead they just drift off into the stands and have a hotdog with the fans. Then making you offside etc.
Its really poor. I do argue it pretty much makes the game unplayable in some aspects. - @EllisPrd11 also adding the idea of clubs is you control 1 man, and when you cant even control him? whats all that about?
its crap. simply crap - @EllisPrd11 The LB button gives the ai full control over your left stick movement when off the ball in order to keep u in your players chosen position.
The RB button is a second man press or double tap it to send 2 ai defenders to mark open plays which is inconsistent. But in co-op and clubs I don't think it's ever been available. Your team mate(s) just need to stay in position and track back to help defend. - @lansenyl understand that but with all respect were not all making this up for the fun of it.
ive been playing clubs for a long time now and this has never been an issue.
Literally when your holding R1 to tell the AI to press, you lose complete control of your own player. He just runs off into the crowd, off the pitch or into the net.
Id respect that if when holding R1 you lose control of the player yet he still stays in focus with the match following the ball etc, but he doesnt. he just wonders off until you release R1.
In all the clubs i have played across all the generations of games, whilst holding R1 you still have positions control of the your own player. As the captain its your duty to control your own player aswell as the AI.
Im not makign arguments with anybody but believe me, this is a bug and its really ruining the play for people who are the captain of there team.
ill put my hands up if FC come out and say this is intentional, but i promise you i wont be contuining to play because its just making things very difficult. - @EllisPrd11 I see what you're saying and I've had the same issue with the RB button. In FUT or seasons the player I'm controlling wonders off to pick grass and my second man hobbles over to try and help.
But in clubs I promise you it is not meant to be used, even if you're the captain controlling the squad on any.
I can see the issue if the wandering off still happens and I agree with you something should be done about it ASAP.

You do need to use it mate and its always been in clubs since ive played it over the last 4/5 years. Because when your team dont have the ball you need to tell the AI to press the oppsition to tackle, otherwise they just bite there nails and watch the opposite teams player fly past them like road runner.
Simply when your holding R1(ps5) to control AI and tell them to press then you lose all control of your own player.
Its never happened on any fifa/fc.. its just this year! and if they have made it intentional then they need to undo it because its just *. Let alone the fact they have completely changed the d-pad tactics menu which is absolutely awful. And also they have removed the little dances and reaction moves off the d-pad which really helped expressing when you was annoyed or pleased etc.
Im just 1 in a million of players but im sure alot would agree with me on these things. idk..
anyhow ive just finished work so im going home to play COD lol!!
@lansenyl It has always been available in clubs for as long as i've played it but only to the captain.Same as quick tactics (team press, offside trap and so on), team momentum (double tapping d-pad left or right). Again these are only available to the captain of the team.
From early access launch I have been captain numerous times in drop-ins and not once been able to use quick tactics or anything. The menu doesn't even show up. RB team mate press works in fashion but yeah you lose control over your player until releasing RB. This has never been an issue in any previous games. Even as non captain RB disables control of your player when it should have no function as non captain when defending.
