PS5 - Slow and Unresponsive gameplay

Everything you have mentioned in this post I have been dealing with. The exact Same issue since Fifa 20. I have upgraded Internet to 1GB then to 1GB fiber and actually today I will be upgrading to 5GB fiber.

The best solution I have came across is to delete your game save data from storage after every game. 

Close app delete save data then load back in. Once you get to menu of connecting to servers hit cancel. This will reset all your settings and make you choose a new favorite team every time. If you don't have to choose a new favorite team then your settings didn't reset and you will have sluggish gameplay and the ball bounces back to your opponent after each tackle. Your AI players won't defend, won't make AI runs. 

It has to be something in the net code or lag compensation because every Fifa or every new account the first few games I am playing a different game. Players are responsive. Bronze players seem to perform better than TOTS cards. Passing is accurate and with pace. Shots are flying in the net. I don't feel like I am on skates while trying to defend. I can player switch with ease. 

Will update once I get this lighting speed Internet. 

One last thing I have forgot to mention is I have tried playing closer to Servers in North America but I don't live close to servers so this is a possibility but regardless that shouldn't be a huge factor. The gameplay I am describing is like your game data is corrupted and your opponents is not and some games I can tell my opponent is the one with corrupted game play and my gameplay is flawless
