If you haven't yet, can we give the following a try?

Run the System File Checker tool, then Check for Windows and GPU updates
Default your PC to the dedicated Graphics card: Troubleshooting Graphics issues
If there’s an option available, try capping your frame rate. You can also enable Vertical Sync (V-Sync), to match your frame rate to your display’s refresh rate.
Check if any background applications are stopping the EA app or your game.
Perform a clean boot of your PC to disable background tasks that may be interfering with your game.

So in summary, EA says blame Windows files then your graphics card, then other apps. Basically, blame everything except the actual game

@EA_Illium I have the same error and I tried them all but nothing changed. I played the game yesterday without a problem.
