Hello everyone,

I understand how frustrating it can be when you are unable to launch your game, and I want to help you find the best solution for this issue. Based on various workarounds discussed in this thread, I have noticed that there can be different reasons for this problem occurring. Below, I will list all the workarounds that have helped others resolve the issue of not being able to launch the game after the splash screen. Please also make sure to follow the steps outlined in our Tech Guide post.


nck1w FIXED. Right click on desktop icon, properties, compability, run for windows 8, disable fullscreen optimization, run as administrator

IamMickT So, after reading in some of the other threads, if you have Trend Micro Antivirus/Security and maybe other antivirus software - go into the settings of your antivirus and add FC25 to an exception list from any scans or monitoring; I've done this and then just after the ANTI CHEAT screen appears I had to manually log into the EA/Origin; I am now up and running - GAME WORKS

Kalixious Link #81 Update BIOS: If you have an ASUS Z790 motherboard, update your BIOS to the latest version.

Update Drivers: Ensure all hardware/software drivers and Windows updates are current.

Repair EA Anticheat:
  - Close the EA App.
  - Download and repair the FC25 anticheat using the EA Anticheat tool.
  - Navigate to "C:\Program Files\EA Games\EA SPORTS FC 25."
  - Open "EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher."
  - Log into your EA account when prompted.


mrKOFOLio  LINK #106 mentioned that he resolved the issue by reinstalling the anti-cheat software and then repairing it. 


Reset existing settings by deleting the settings file from   C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Local\EA SPORTS FC 25 (App Data is usually a hidden folder, so it can be changed from the View dropdown.)


Close background applications to run the game 


Install and repair EA anticheat on your PC


Create a new windows administrator account and launch the game on that profile.

  • you have to fix the game not write down things that i have tried yet , i have Google too i have read this by myself and Is occasionaly fix that dont work in most case , FIX THE PROBLEM AT ROOTS, WITH AND UPDATE INSTEAD OF THINK ABOUT PEOPLE THAT COMPLAINS ABOUT DEFENSE 5 IN ULTIMATE TEAM .

    HI Pulsar,

    None of the solutions have worked for me. Only installing origin enables me to launch the game first time, however this only get me in game it does not keep me there for more 3/4 matches in any mode.

    I have:

    • Updated mobo & GPU drivers (using DDU to remove and full clean install)
    • Moved the game installation from an SSD game drive to my SSD C:\
    • installed anti cheat more times that I can count, FC25 never appears in the installed list unless I, uninstall all, install to a random game I do not have FC24 etc, update then repair. Only then does FC25 appear as an option to install and even then, it's gone next time around and have to do it all again.
    • updated windows
    • added exceptions to Malwarebytes to allow full access etc
    • tried all applicable fixes listed in this thread from the community etc

    The results of which the game will;

    • Randomly lock up in the menus claiming rewards, entering the store, looking at season progress etc. There is no pattern this, seems random and is guaranteed every session. 

    • Game play is either painfully slow or stutters randomly while in any mode, this too is almost always guaranteed. Sometimes the first game or two may be ok, but over time it becomes unplayable, other times it's like this from the first kickoff. The stuttering ranges from micro to 1-2 full second hangs.
    • Usually after 3-4 games, it is unplayable and will either crash outright after exiting a game or changing menu randomly etc
    • It can and will fully BSOD my PC
    • If i'm able to close the app properly my PC is slowed down still to the point of needing a reboot

    When - Every time I get the game to work

    I have attached a picture of a frequent error message and my DxDiag info.

    Please fix this £70 for a game I can only play after jumping through hoops and virtually never online because I get punished with terrible game play and penalties when the game crashes and I take the loss missing out on rewards as a result etc and basically only being able to play against AI because I simply cannot trust it to run is a very poor show.  

    I can run MSFS2020 on ultra setting in ultra wide resolution no problem, Cyberpunk with ultra settings and most ray tracing on and still get nearly 100fps my rig is not weak and does not stuggle in anyother game I own anything like it does with FC25.

  • for real man, how have you done via origin i at least want to be able to play the game ive done everything imaginable.

  • None of these work for me. 

    splash comes up, load bar works, goes to black screen then returns to EA app. 

    Requested a refund from steam saying I can asI have used DLC parts, how could I if i cant get into the game. 

    Thieves...... 2 weeks now. zero game time but hours of trying to get it to work. 

    much Hate to EA and Steam. 

  • I got gamepass and gained 10 hours free to teste, 1 out of those 10 hours are just me trying to open the game, i have other 9 hours to go on this *

    This is happening to me right now and EA are saying its my fault. They said they are not willing to do anything after trying a few steps to fix the issue. I saved all my chat logs and am going to take this further. They are pretending that these are isolated issues, which is what they said my case is. They know very well that this is such a huge mess so avoiding ownership and responsibility is their way out of it. 10 days now I am unable to launch the game since the last update. I will never buy another EA game again. 

  • Might have found a fix. I've had the same problem, I run the game, EA Anti-Cheat pops up, but no green loading bar on splash screen. After trying every method from this topic and with no success, I requested a Steam refund, but it was rejected (apparently I redeemed my bonuses because I bought FC25 Ultimate Edition, even though I never entered UT), then I was searching some old topics from previous FIFAs and found this FIFA 23 thread with a same problem (https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/FIFA-23-EA-anticheat-Update/td-p/11970178/page/117 7). I followed a post from @chuckbyc and It seems to work. I ran the game 2-3 times and it worked. Then I ran it trough Mod Manager and again it worked. I'll update you if something changes, but I think you should give it a go.


    PS: I recommend before trying this, go to EAAntiCheat.installer, run it, find FC25 in the dropdown menu (if you can't find it, choose any game from the list, click update and FC25 should appear), uninstall it and then install again.

  • I press "play", then a loading bar appears that lasts way longer than before. Then the FC25 splash screen appears, where there is either no loading bar, or it takes multiple minutes to load, before disappearing for about a minute of two and then the EA App opens again. Here I press "play" again on FC 25 and the same things happen again. This suddenly started happening a couple of days ago, after being able to play it normally since launch. 

    EA username is Remc0ve, I play on PC through the EA App, not steam. The issue occurs every single time I try to start the game, I am fully unable to play. There is no text, and no message. Just the splash screen disappearing back into the EA App. 

    Please help, I paid for EA PlayPro for this game and now I can't do anything. Literally nothing.

    Hi,

    I have same issue. I launch FC25, i have the black screen, and nothing, game doesn't start and come back to EA App.

    Issue arrived this evening, when i was on ultimate menu. Message seen : error with Ultimate servors.

    Since, no more available to connect/launch game

    Hi,

    I've tried literally everything you've listed here and many other possible solutions from other forums but nothing seems to work; when I bought the game I managed to play a couple of hours, even tho it had a persistent problem of stuttering, but right now it's just stuck on the splash screen, no loading bar, no error code. 

    The only thing I noticed is that when I try to install the EAAntiCheat from the "__Installer" folder it says (from the dropdown menu): "FC25 (installed)", but when I close the program and reopen it, "FC25 (installed)" just disappears.

    I dont know what the problem is, but I really hope that someone is working on it, because otherwise all PC players have just threw away their money at the moment.

  • I don't know what to do anymore.. I feel like I've tried literally everything. Nothing works, I can't believe that this crash is appearing a lot of years too.. Shame on you EA.

    Litteraly when are YOU GUYS fixing the problem instead of letting the community find out themselves? You made the game, you fix this problem right now! How do you expect people to pay for this game without us even be able to play the game we PAYED for!
    Shame, shame, shame on you EA! Most useless company ever. FIX YOUR GAME!

    the ea fc app cant read other languages except for english, so if you downloaded ea fc in a file which has non english letters the ea launcher  wont be able to find the game files to open the game. I had the same issue because i had my file named with greek letters and after changing it to english letters the game launched
