Having 900 DL and 100 UL doesn't mean anything to your router sending the signal in gameplay.  You need to set QOS (quality of service) up in your router.  If it is a router from your ISP that I can almost guarantee you it is the culprit in your game lagging.  ISP routers are optimized for general use on a network.  You need to go in to your router settings and set up QOS.  Then set your router to prioritize your xbox.  Also honestly even that is not usually good enough because their routers are not built for gaming.  Xbox works in tandem with Netgear routers out of the box because they have a partnership.  Other brands you really have to tinker with the QOS and figure out how to throttle the other devices on your network whether with a bandwidth limiter or QOS.  I hope this can help you.  It took me literally years to figure this out as I had the same issue until I bought a fancy router to from Asus and learned how to use third party software from Merlin to finally get my Xbox to get low ping and maintain priority on my network.  But most people who work for EA and microsoft dont have any idea what they are talking about they just read from their teleprompter (monitors) and regurgitate unhelpful non sense about lag and latency in gaming.  FIFA only has servers for certain modes in the game and if your playing against multiple people it is more likely you are using P2P (peer to peer) protocol which means that if someone in your group has a bad connection with you it will effect all members in the party.

What you write is nonsense. You don't need a super router and QOS settings to play online games when you have fiber optic internet with such speed and response (the bandwidth is large). You probably haven't even experienced the input lag that is being talked about here. Some streamers complain about it, but their players are responsive and move when they press button and sometimes have a tiny delay. What bothers us (strangely, these are often players with a great connection) is the huge delay on commands, such that the game is unplayable even against significantly weaker players. Our EA connection score is 95+% (this means that the game should be great, but it isn't). I have a PS5 and I've tried everything, different PS5s, new dualsense, new monitor, different ISP in a different city, everything connected via cables, different router settings, reinstalls, reboots, cash cleaning, changing mac router, new and better router, new and better modem, I've read posts from people who bought PS5pro and nothing... the worst thing is that sometimes something happens and the game runs beautifully smoothly, for me it happens, like once or twice a week. The worst thing is that I then enjoy it and instead of uninstalling the garbage, I then look for the cause and write to the EA forum, where some smart guy will give me nonsense advice
