@SAMY_smyy multiple titles on PC have issues with supporting PS4's controller. You should try using ds4windows or a similar tool to emulate Xbox controller. Then it'll work fine (though you'll still have Xbox button icons

Disabling steam input and then restarting Steam / game should help. Also, PS4 controller is not officially supported in EA FC25 on PC, as far as I know

I FIXED IT, for all steam ps4 controller users all i did was disable steam input and run both steam and ea launcher as administrator

I've got a Razer controller (licensed for PlayStation and for tournaments)

And got same issues in FC24 but they've gone after I added FC24 and EA app as a non-Steam game and using controller input override in Steam.

Now about FC 25:

I've got a game via EA PRO subscribtion.

And can't use my gamepad in a game.

Tried to:

- just install and run from the EA app

- repair and run from the EA app

- add as non-steam game and run from the Steam

- add as non-steam game, turn on "override" gamepad inputs in settings and run from the Steam

Also tried all advices from this topic - all without any positive result.

And FC 24 still works fine via Steam. But not FC 25 =(

Also noticed than FC 25 is not marked green in a Steam's menu while it's running as it was with FC 24 and EA app.

Maybe they changed the way the process is launched for the FC 25 and now it doesn't want to launch as a child process of Steam and that's why last year's method of launching through Steam doesn't help in FC 25...

managed to launch the game, but my right joystick controls my mouse cursor now and only inputs like X and the left joystick (PS4 controller) works. 

How can I make steam and ea both administration

I also have the problem and I use a switch pro controller, it worked perfectly on FC24 and I haven't changed anything

I've just found a solution for my Razer gamepad: installed their driver from here: https://dl.razerzone.com/drivers/Raiju/win/Razer_XInput_RaijuUltimate_Driver_v1.00.00.01.exe
And it starts working just from EA App without Steam and etc.

But not sure if it could help with other gamepads... Maybe you should search for XInput driver on your manufacturers' websites...

What happens when the bug occurs? My player keeps walking a different way at random, input lag on controller as well and no whistles from the referee, only at full-time/half-time 
What should be happening instead? Simply to play a f*cking game

It's absolutely ridiculous!! Never had any problems with controllers whatsoever. But now, when playing player career mode, everytime when I walk and I hold the RB button as well to get my defenders to press the opponent, my player just keeps walking even though I let go of the left joystick whilst still holding RB. The controller input is also really delayed in FC25, compared to all other games I've ever played. Never had any problems with controllers and any EA game through the EA App on PC and a wireless Xbox One controller with a bluetooth adapter.

Also, most of the time when a foul occurs, or any other event which causes the referee to whistle (NORMALLY), you do not hear the whistle during the games. Only at full-time and half-time.

It's absolutely horrendous how I have been paying 100 and now 120 euros a year to get an EA Play Pro subscription, just for EA to mess up Madden 25 AND EA FC 25 WITHING A SINGLE F*CKING MONTH!!!! It's like EA doesn't give a sh*t about their customers, AT ALL!! (Yes, I am really pissed off now, as a loyal player and subscription owner FOR MULTIPLE YEARS NOW, EA...)

And yes... I do have a good PC which can play all games on maximum graphics whithout breaking a sweat...
