Steam DLC redeemed, but advanced access not working

Hi there, hope you can help.

I have seen a lot of people reporting access issues with Advanced Access but not my exact issue, I don't think.

I redeemed my code on Steam (I got a code from the EA digital code platform) and pre-loaded. The pre-load is complete, but the button 'PLAY' is greyed out, and it says that access will come when the game releases on 27th September. On Download Manager, it says 'Game Not Released'.

On EA App, it says 'Enjoy your 7 days Advanced Access', but it says to go to Steam to do this.

Steam shows the download is complete, but the package hasn't 'unpacked' so it's not technically installed.

I pressed the button to redeem the Ultimate Edition DLC as soon as I redeemed the game itself, and I can see it in my DLC management options when right clicking.
