Stuck in Trial Version

Question

Got the game in September and had an issue where the game was stuck in the Trial version (see: "Don't have necessary permissions to advance" thread). This was corrected with an update in November.

The December update sent me back to Trial mode and it has been stuck there ever since.

It has been nearly 2 months now with no acknowledgement from EA that this is a known problem and is being worked on.

This is going great. I have even considered rebuying the game but can't trust it would ever work again.

Tried to go through chat and was basically told "there's nothing we can do, keep an eye on the message boards and socials!". Really makes me hesitant to buy an EA product ever again.
