The connection to your opponent has been lost
Hi,
I'm experiencing consistent connectivity issues while trying to play any online mode in FC25. Every time I start an online game, whether it's Ultimate Team or a friendly co-op match, I get disconnected within the first 2-3 seconds, receiving the message "The connection to your opponent has been lost." This occurs in every online game I attempt to play.
Here are the steps I've taken so far to resolve the issue:
- Enabled DMZ on my router.
- Changed DNS settings to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.
- Reset my router.
- Tried different Wi-Fi connections (hotspot from my IPhone and 2 other Wi-Fi networks in different apartments (friends houses) since I have gaming laptop and can take it to another place).
- Recovered the game files.
- Cleared the EA App Cache.
- Reinstalled the game.
- Deleted and recreated my squad in Web App.
Despite these efforts, the issue persists. Interestingly, while searching for a game, I see a ping of 10-15ms, which indicates a good connection. However, as soon as the game starts, I get the "The connection to your opponent has been lost" message. I had the same problem is FC24, but I don't remember, how did I fix it. Actually I don't have a bad internet connection. The only game I'm struggling to play is FC25. In every other game that I play I get a pretty good connection.
I would appreciate any assistance or guidance you can provide to resolve this issue.
