Why is left trigger so sensitive

I've been having this problem ever since EA and FIFA split up so for eafc 24 and now this new year if I even think about pressing or pulling the left trigger it engages if I barely touch it it enga4ges leading to missed  wide open goals missed passes etc. Why can't I adjust the sensitivity trigger settings? there's not even an option to do it I can't be the only person that has this issue.
