Why your community hates you

Hi EA FC, 

I’m going to tell you exactly why this community hates you, and why if you don’t change very quickly then people will stop buying your game… especially decade long players like myself.

its simply you stole the enjoyment out of it.

FC 25 is truly the worst case scenario for you all.

In prior iterations you could have rough gameplay, but great content that made players want to grind the menus. Because grinding the menus allowed the players to get some of the decent promo players, or just promo players at least. You know, during this time of year you could open your three 83+x14 packs a day and be guaranteed at least two fodder players and maybe one decent mid-tier player. You could do 25-30 player picks and be guaranteed at least 10 high-rated gold fodder and one to two promo cards. With a quite a few 83’s and 84’s thrown in. But there was no way that at this time of year that a player would go three days, opening every single 83+x14 and doing 100 player picks, plus all the extra menu packs… and not get one good promo card.. that is 126 83+ players opened and 400 80+ players opened to not get a single promo card that is over an 88 rating… not to forget only one 88 promo card out of all those players. A player, at this stage of the game would not go an entire week and opening every menu/objective pack since a promo starting to get 5 total promo cards.. and of the 5 three were dupes. During Golazo last year, it was promo card after promo.. 100 player picks would easily net 15 promo cards… but this time, not one…

why is this EA? Why did you take the ability of getting promos out of the menus? Simply put, your greed.. and the 20+ store packs you have.

This is why I am not excited for TOTS, at this rate I’m not excited for Futties… because you have shown so much this year that you don’t care at all… your content update cycle shows it too. I remember the 83+ and 84+ packs recycling on Saturdays.. giving players 6 days of these packs.. now it is Tuesdays, which is only three days. 

So this year not is it horrible gameplay, but it is also horrible content. I mean, when the only way I can get some enjoyment playing the game is on the old-version.. that should tell you something. 

I would say fix your game… but you won’t. Despite you all seeing your stock fall, and your player base drastically diminishing… what do you do? Add more store packs… not make the content better. People play game because they are enjoyable.. they don’t play games to pay more money.. they leave games for that reason.

i used to average a minimum of 150-200 hours a month on this game. Now I struggle to break 100, and these last few weeks I have struggled to even play 7 hours a week..

I know I am only one person, but I personally know other long time players that feel the same. Players that have been with this franchise for over a decade… that stopped playing because of this iteration. You have broke a cherished franchise for your own greed..
