Marked as Solution for Visibility Purposes Only - Under investigation

I found a fix.
1. Delete saved data on console only.
2. When entering game stop syncing.
3. Start a new career and make an auto save only.
4. Back out and quit the app.
5. Start game again and allow syncing.
6. Your old saves will be there including your new one, delete the checkpoint save that’s breaking your game and the new save you made for the fix.
7. Only use auto saves and not checkpoints until they fix the bug.

Thank you for your cooperation!
"The above steps" do not work for me, as I'm on PS5 where the sync happens before you launch the game (making the steps effectively the same as for example deleting & re-installing the game).
Would be pretty cool to receive a proper status update, as in how high on the priority list this major of a bug is? (seems like not very, as it's not even listed on the Trello board........) An ETA, something. Anything other than a "really soon" answer in a chat by a random support person, as this topic was created over a month ago now + as mentioned, the bug isn't even listed anywhere on the Trello board.
Not a great look when the last reply in this topic by an EA representative is a month ago, and that it's marked as "solved" ("for visibility purposes", yeah, but I wonder if it messes with your internal systems somehow, leaving this unattended?). There hasn't been any follow up questions so I'm left to wonder which point this investigation is at, have the devs been able to recreate it, which I would assume would bring us a lot closer to the fix? As a layperson I'd imagine that the main issue is the infinite loop of an incorrect error message appearing, or at the very least that it's not anything major enough to warrant waiting months for a fix.
I know I can access the game if I delete all data or just use another account, but I'd like to trust even EA to be a company decent enough to fix this kind of issue in a relatively timely manner (or at the very least tell us if it won't be).
Tossing over 40 hours of progress in a career mode save down the drain isn't a thing I'm that eager to do when it doesn't seem to be an issue where the files are f. e. corrupted.
I have multiple saves files (regular too in addition to the checkpoint ones), and I'd guess the problem could be solved by deleting those checkpoint ones. A few years ago I vaguely remember being able to do that on my console, but now it only let's me delete/sync/whatever all of the game data as a whole, not any single file.
Xbox users having a viable workaround probably moved this issue to the bottom of the priority list, but I'd like to remind EA that there isn't one that works on PS5.

- Summary of the Issue: I had saved my career in a checkpoint file, exited to the main menu & then tried to get back into career mode by pressing "Continue career mode", at which point it told me to create a save file to continue (the regular thing it does when trying to load a checkpoint save). I realized my mistake (I wanted to load a regular save, not the checkpoint) & just closed the game as it didn't let me to f. e. exit to the main menu from that screen. Upon relaunching the game, the issue appeared and now does so every time I try to start the game: as soon as I open the game I'm faced with a full screen text of "You have more than one storage device with a FC 25 profile. Please select a storage device to load from." There's only an option to "Ok" it by pressing X, but that just results in the same message re-apparing. No chance to select a storage device or delete any files or anything. But you already know that, and have known for over a month.
- Specific moment when the issue happens: As soon as I start the game, so I literally cannot access the game I bought (unless I use another account or delete all data, yeah yeah I know).
- Recent Timestamp (Date, Time, Timezone): October 29th, 2024, 20:44 EET & countless times before during the last 22 hours or so since it first happened.
