Bad Gameplay

If you ruled out any connection issues then it’s likely in your setup. Your tv or monitor may have delay. Ea has already explained that there is nothing in the game that would cause that. Which is good we need ea to explain more things like that so you know you can fix it. 

Another thread said he cleared his cache or something like that.  Another thread in the technical section found out it was one of his ps settings. 

Also saw someone who came back with good connection scores but was using WiFi so that would be causing it. 

I dunno if you looked into any of the above or not but you can try those threads. 

Unfortunately i have tried all those things. I have changed between a tv with game mode to a state of the art monitor. Neither of those effected my gameplay.

i have cleared the cache on my pc via the app and flush the dns settings so again it can’t be that. I also used wired with a netduma r3. I have used both this and just normal wired through the router and again that did not change the gameplay.

is there a way i can see how i am connecting to the ea server?

I know you said you tested everything did you do the connection test on here and look at your match history?

You can run the game with the online input overlay on this will show you your local connection with one controller and the server connection with the other controller. 

Like I said you ruled all that out so maybe you already did those test. 

Yes i have run those tests. Ive always suffered with this delay going back to fifa 15 or so. My connection score has been as high as 99 and it’s always been poor. Generally now it’s aleays in the 90s unless ive been experimenting with connection things like using wifi. The input overlay is fine. The buttons respond correctly so there is no delay as such. It’s just the annimations are slow so i might press the button (it registers) but the player takes an extra touch before doing the command. It’s almost like the gameplay is out of sync hence the players just don’t respond or move as they should while the opposition can make tackles they shouldn’t make (it’s as if their game is slightly ahead of mine so it doesn’t look correct on my end). 

Hopefully someone from the EA technical team can come up with a few suggestions as ive tried all the normal troubleshooting steps

Thanks i will have a look. Im sure someone with the knowledge at Ea must know what the likely cause of this type of gameplay is. Once i know i have a better chance of fixing it

Frank please stop trolling. You have offered no explanation no help. The user wants help. Once you start this you derail the thread and the op will never get it fixed. Your behavior is very disappointing for people looking for answers and trying to help. Nobody is rude till you start trolling stop it.

Please don’t spread misinformation. The op is looking for answers from ea and that is what ea said in the last thread when they explained why it happens.
