Champions Finals - Inconsistent Quit Win/Loss Methodology
I was playing Champions Finals and my opponent quit while we were drawing 0-0 and I wasn't granted a win. So, as a test to see if my suspicions were correct (spoiler: they were, as goes without saying with this game) I quit my following Champions Finals game while I was drawing 0-0 and guess what? It granted me a loss! As it RIGHTLY should.
However, in this case, I should be granted wins when my opponent quits while drawing as that would be the ONLY fair and consistent approach. Granted, when my opponent quit it didn't count as a game so I had another opportunity.
That said, it is not just that I was playing someone who, seemingly, didn't feel up for playing against me, perhaps suggesting I was in with a better chance of winning than they were, only then to pair me up with someone better than me and cause me to lose a game I otherwise would have won.
I don't mind losing, I lose all the time, but punishing players when their opponents quit is not honourable or fair. The game is unduly stressful enough when being paired up against teams full of the same ridiculous icons and TOTYs who are rated far better than any team I could ever wish to afford, so at least make the approach to quitting games consistent and fair.
