Faced Cheater in Immortals Cup - Lost Out on Maldini.

I have already contacted EA help about this who have informed me that this is an issue multiple people are facing and that compensation is expected. However, I am posting in this forum in order to notify everyone else who has possibly experienced something similar and lost out on Maldini.
To put it simply, a cheater in penalties was the reason I lost out on Maldini, being 24/25 wins needed for the objective with the cheater costing me my win. In the penalty stage, the opponent misses their first pen. I score my first. Then, they score their next pen. When it comes to my second pen. coincidentally, my player misses an easy shot (no red time, aimed properly good shooting) and the game freezes with my player and the opponent's keeper stuck in a weird animation. Then it goes to my opponent's pen who scores easily and the game DOES NOT freeze. Again, during my pen, my player misses an easy shot (no red time, aimed properly) and the game freezes AGAIN with my player and the opponent's keeper stuck in a weird animation ONCE AGAIN but for longer. My opponent is up 2-1 in penalties at this moment and "magically" I get disconnected. It's blatantly obvious the opponent was cheating and DC'ed me once he cheated to get up in pens and get the win. This is utterly ridiculous that people on console and PC are able to hack and cheat in the game. It ruins the experience for other players who try to play the game fairly especially in a game mode like the Maldini Immortals cup where its golden goal and every match counts.
EA Help said they experienced something similar as did many others in the community. I have requested compensation and I urge others who have experienced this to do the same. It is not fair to me and others who have lost out on the reward by playing fair to cheaters who take advantage of the game's in unfair manners and others who have little time and effort. I will expect compensation for being 24/25 and missing out on Maldini cause of this scenario.
