Future Star-academy Evo III Attacker - Not working

I chose the player Giuliano Simone and the Attacker path in the evolution line. I completed the two first I and II, but now I can’t do the last evo III. It said that my player in (88), rated Evo II is not qualified, but I can not either use the upgrades for the card so he should be qualified. So now I am stuck with him in his current form but I would like to get him in the last form (91) rated. I hope it is a problem from EA, because I seemed that I did everything by the book to complete the evolution or else it is a stupid complicated way to do the evolution line if I missed something. Hope I can get some help!!
