One sided delay would be on your end. If it’s server or game related both players will have delay. Ea has explained this before. Its nice when ea is transparent and explains why things happen they should do more of that as it lets everyone know what’s going on.
It’s easy to test though. Turn on the online input overlay. If you have delay the two controllers will be out of sync on the screen.
More times than not people find out they don’t have one sided delay although a few do.

Even if it is our end, it's not really but as EAFC/ FIFA are the only games that sync data differently depending on what connection you use.
The input overlay won't make a difference if the game is loaded up out of sync with server.
If EA would listen to what I'm saying that's it's something to do with cloud saves and syncing data the game would be fixed.
Could it be some sorta lag compensation system they use I don't know, maybe it's something else but it's for EA to find out. All I can say is if I switch from my wired connection to a mobile hotspot when starting the game up again it syncs data. " I had 20 other games on my Xbox no other games do this".
