I play on a TV, bought a monitor and sent it back. Xbox series X. The thing is if it was a display setting how could I possibly get good matches.
Remember I can tell what online will be like by playing squad battles first because the delay starts the minute I log onto EA servers
When the gameplay is good that whole session will be until have I have to reconnect to the EA server. I've already told others and it's helped them " Say you're playing at 9pm and the gameplay is awful and you're still playing at 11pm if you log off and reconnect there's a 50/50 chance of better gameplay, if you don't log off its got no chance of getting better. So the only change is the how the game connects to the EA server at the start.
I had the same issues. Gameplay would be better at certain times but even when it was quicker i was still disadvantaged in terms of speed. Everyone will have slightly different issues. Connecting to different servers does make a difference as the speed will change but my gameplay is night and day even when it feels heavy. If i get my winger past the fullback i can now cut inside and get a shot away whereas i would always be tackled before.
Once i had tried fixing all the logical possibilities of bad gameplay i moved on yo the unlikely. If you start with the assumption it is something at your end you will have a better chance of fixing it. I know the tv settings seem unlikely but play around with them and you might be surprised. As i have said if i can fix my issues others can as well. The game is nowhere near perfect but it’s much better when you don’t feel that every game is against you
