Goalkeeper movement not working

Please can someone help me resolve my goalkeeper movement. My goalkeeper only takes 1 step when I move R3. After the 1st step I can't control the keeper anymore. Heard that EA patched the goalkeeper movement but then I see my opponents moving their goalkeepers at will and in the FC 25 PRO OPEN I saw pro players moving their goalkeeper to whatever direction they want, so why is my goalkeeper movement not working?... I have tried changing my control settings several times, I have also tried setting the save assistance in gameplay settings to manual and none of these worked. I am able to move the goalkeeper during corner kicks, just before the corner kick is taken but immediately after the corner kick, during 1on1 / when the opponent is with the ball I can't move the goalkeeper with R3.

Please does anyone know how I can resolve this? I will appreciate any response. Thanks in advance
