Re: why bother with point for a draw

@sniperfox29 I'm all for GG. At the end of the day, we play for rewards and if we can finish our games faster and complete objectives faster, I'm all for it.

I know others agree and I know others disagree.

If you want to play full games, there's no quitting in Squad Battles. Lol

I too agree that it's not fair for people to quit at tied scores to deny you a win, that's unrealistic and toxic behavior that's being unpunished. Any intentional quitters should be punished either with longer queue times or even timed bans. Why they continue to deny us these wins is beyond my understanding. I'm all in favor of if the opponent quits, I should get the win. If anything, if the opponent quits right away, then no harm; no foul. But, if the opponent quits after at least a couple of mins into the game, it should count as a win. It's not fair that if we dc from squad battles it's automatically an L -- especially for just having 12 games this year.

@Izzy_FUT_Dubs I am glad we have an understanding.

I always considered the first few seconds of the match a good measure of ping etc, but after that, game on.

It makes zero sense for people to be allowed to DNF a match with virtually no punishment (and no EA, a small coins reduction is not a punishment), in fact you are punishing the actual player who played properly and has just wasted their time doing soi.

But I suspect the answer is EA simply want people to play as many games as they can force them to play, sorry chum, that 99% of the match you played didnt' count, better play and again and hope for the best, and whuile you are there, go buy some packs just in case.
