Rival opponents not engaging

I don't mind the online side and currently finally sit in div 1, although will never go above that :D , im always up  / down in 1 or 2, but either way have more than enough games to say what its like and

90% of people on rivals are toxic, complete , ........ all the way up the divisions near enough all of them are the same, sad little idiots and try and watch every single replay, celebrate every single goal, start trying to look good spamming silly moves,  I never understand how they are so willing to waste there own time as much as there opponents

 its sad, both celebrations and replays should just "auto skip" if either player presses to do so, or just remove them, there is litterly no reason for them other than to be toxic as you can watch any of the goals at the end of the match.

So it puts others off playing online, some people cba with it, they only go into rivals because EA force them to for evo's just like they try and force you into other modes of theres you have no interest in to earn XP or a few packs etc.

So there is no way around it for them, they have to go into rivals to complete the evo, so instead of engaging with these morons I dont blame people for just sitting there and holding a button while watching something else, if somebody does that to me I just score 1 goal, skip it and just sit there with the ball myself and the game flys by anyways

Yes they have, idk whether it was a mod or an established account, but the person confirmed it last year in the FC24 forum, but he added that it happens more often on the old gen consoles. Just search "Bots in Rivals" in the FC24 forum and it's the first thread I believe.
