Rush Mode is great but needs work

How about you revamp those extra points?

Make it

win

score 1 goal

assist 2 goals

pass the ball 20 times

score a bycicle goal

score after a skillmove

score a trivela

score a finess

score a header

dont put down your controller

see the passing line and pass the ball

get top passer

get top defender or what its called

get 10 points rating

the options are endless. You could even do 1-2 extra point cards like its now, but i think 5 options just for the playerselection is far too much. I dont think giving out extra points for using specific  players will benefit this mode. You should use those "events" to limit the players, like make a normal event forever - and one or two special events where you only can use team of the weaks / players from the current promo for a 1.5x boost.

Or and make more events but limit the plays/entries, so the people would actually try to play and win. If there is a normal event and an event where you have to use an current promo card and get 2x or 3x the points - but only if you win and you can only play it 20 times. And say make an objective for 10 wins - im sure the players would actually try to win and pass the ball if that means its a clear goal.

just make those extra points for the personal match achievement. these current extra points only result in people using useless cards and lay down their controller!

At least make it that you have to win the match to get those points.

That you have now actually assist goals as an obj was a welcome surprise! That shows you are kinda aware of the problems.

That mode is so much fun, if there werent all the time total noobs and afks.

I mean im not good at the game, but i always offer a clear and easy passing line - an easy R1+A pass - but all those guys dont see it and prefer to R2 run into the opponent.

I have the ball the hold it against all those 4 opponents, but my teammates cant offer a passing line for a easy goal - i find one and they are surprised and butch it.

If they dont have the ball they dont offer anything, they hide behind the opponent. No clue about football. I wonder what div are those guys are. I guess those are those guys that just have 10 players in their own box and wait for something to happen.

Matchmaking is needed. Just make it not depending on rivals.Give it its own ladder. Win +1, Loss -1 like in rivals, but make it like matchrating over 9.5 will not reduce a point on a loss.

So then maybe the people would actually play it. And ofc dont allow to play a group vs randoms/drop-ins.
