rush player confirmation bug

hi when I launch rush I choose the player but can't confirm it it with the + button of my switch. making me wait for the countdown long and even not being able to select a player before someone else. 

could you please fix it 

also I cannot lift my ball when I have it in match mode like rival or other. the R joystick button click does not get the ball up anymore. could you help me with that too please
