Social Menu comes up when I try and sprint FC25

I was trying to play a squad battles game and when I tried to sprint using R2 on PlayStation the social menu kept coming up and happened everytime I tried to sprint. Same thing happened when I tried ...

Yeah, it's happened to me a few times, tried restarting the game app and it still occurs then after a short while everything is ok, then it happens again another time, very annoying!.

    No answer to this? I get the same xbox series s.

    Can't play any game mode due to the socal menu popping up everytime I try and sprint.

      It happened to me but when i pressed the middle xbox button on the controller for main menu and then exited back to game it stopped doing it.

        press the playstation logo button on your controller. (the one between the sticks) that fixed it for me
