It has to be an overhead bicycle kick not a similar type of volley in the same style from the side, in order for it to count.

I tried using players with acrobatic playstyle to enhance my chances but finally got it using a Dreamchasers Schlotterbeck, a defender who has no acrobatic playstyle whatsoever.

If you have scored a definite bicycle kick and the objective hasn't triggered then I would advise it's best to upload a video capture of the moment to confidently report it as a bug

The best part about this one is you can literally go into a friendly against AI on beginner and just spam the kicks all game, it gives you a much better chance of completing it.

Wtf we now have to start filming bugs because we aren't believed?  I've done the bicycle several times with Odobert with Uefa Solksjaer and McManaman and UCL George in the team. It doesn't state it has to be someone with the acrobatic playstyle but as a precaution I did. It hasn't worked with Odobert or any other player

It ain't a question of belief, it's just easier for a problem to be sorted if the people fixing it can see it as and when it happened. 

Also sometimes It can be clearer than an explanation especially when there is a strange/dubious decision/bug, like during gameplay when you doubt offside or not, foul or no foul, etc.

As I said I do it in a friendly on beginner, and if it helps I just run to the byline and stop waiting for my players to move backwards. Then I use L1/LB crosses as they get more height normally.

That's all very well if someone who's supposed to be fixing things actually responds to posts which iin the 2 yra Ive been using this forum and reporting bugs is very very unusual.
