Unable To Play Rivals Mode With Two Controllers On Same PlayStation

Hello, I recently purchased FIFA 25, and in previous versions, it was possible to play Rivals mode with two controllers on a single PlayStation. However, it seems that this is no longer possible in FIFA 25. I'm receiving error messages or being prompted to connect the second controller to an EA account. Could you please clarify if this is a change in the game or if there is a way to resolve this issue?
