Zidane Evo - No base icon allowed?

I get the card is a reference, but no where does it say you have to use TOTY ERA Zidane. it says 'rewards may vary from player to player'. Like? base zidane should work 

i think leaving it open to discussion makes it worse then. it should outline the rarity like every other evo. IE, TOTS, TOTS Metion (Excl. TOTS Champs) ETC.... like you cant just say, its a player then not include the player. Imagine  if the pack said tradeable and the card came out as untradable. they shoudl honor any zizu, i dont see how it breaks the game or changes the field

I don't know, maybe it's supposed to be a chain and another evolution is coming. 

ive refreshed the app and UT on pc and it still says the same thing, Zizu is not eligible for no reason at all

thanks mate, i suspect its a oversight by EA as per BAU. but they should honor the base zidane and the TOTY ERA zidane. like the difference is minimal.

You are right about the requirements, on the app it's the same as yours. I checked online to find out what I told you, and I think it is specified on ps5, although I am not currently able to access mine.

what console are you on? on PC it says the following: 

requirements: 
(no rarity)
Players: Zinedine Zidane
# of playstyle+ Max: 4
# of Playstyle Max: 10
Total Positions: Max 3

in the screen shot attached, it literally says he is eligible except for his name. There is no mention that the rarity has to be his TOTY era in the requirements
