Evolution not working

For me the Old school winner gives the error. Did you maybe start the covering ground evolution on another player and then canceled it without it finishing? I'm asking because I did that, and even tho it is repeatable it gives the error on other cards ever since.

Yes I did that there is no way of going back huh?
