Clubs Game Crashing
I pretty much exclusively play Clubs and it’s gotten to the point where at least one of my team members gets booted from a match every game. This problem has steadily been getting worse and needs to be addressed now. This message appears when I try to access the EA FC 26 online services. The screenshot below is in Portuguese, but this is what is translated: "Unable to load information from the server. Hello EA, I paid for the premium season pass becaue it said I can claim the previous rewards. Now if I go to rewards to claim them it shows that I need -2925 to unlock. Yes NEGATIVE. So there is no way to claim them and also there is no way to refund this. Hey everyone, I have a GTX 1650, i7 9th gen CPU, and 16 GB RAM. I was able to play every previous FIFA version smoothly, but this year I can’t play the game properly. I already have 8 hours played, but during those 8 hours I was only trying to adjust the settings, not actually playing. The game feels like it’s running in slow motion and even when FPS seems stable, the gameplay is not smooth. Enabling V-Sync fixes screen tearing but then the game becomes slower, while disabling V-Sync removes slow motion but causes screen tearing. Sometimes the game starts smoothly and then becomes laggy after a while. When playing online, there is no ping or latency warning shown, but the game still feels laggy as if there is a hidden delay. I never had these issues in older FIFA games, so I believe this is an optimization or refresh rate problem rather than a hardware limitation. There is an issue in EA FC 26 that prevents users from adjusting sock length for Youth Academy players and players created through Create-a-Club mode. The sock length option appears to be locked or missing when editing these player types, while the setting works normally for standard players already in the game. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start a Career Mode. 2. Either: Promote a youth player from the Youth Academy, or Create a squad using Create-a-Club mode. 3. Go to Squad Hub → select the player → Edit Player 4. Navigate to Accessories. 5. Attempt to change Sock Length. Expected Result: The Sock Length option should be adjustable like it is for all other players. Actual Result: The Sock Length option is unavailable or locked for youth players and Create-a-Club generated players. This affects visual customization and consistency across the team. The issue occurs regardless of platform settings or gameplay mode progress. You'll also find shin pads are missing from youth players. Why even your forum is lagging? In EA FC 25 I was winning 5-0 on Legendary difficulty in Squad Battles. Now I cannot score a single goal on World Class difficulty because I cannot control my players. Every pass is glueing to AI opponent. Players are hiding behind AI opponents so I have not got pass options. I am shooting first shot of the game in 45th minute. I have 3 shots per game and I need to score 5 goal to receive full points for the game. It's time for a new Career Mode Story. As per tradition, mine is with my favourite team, my home town club: AFC Ajax from Amsterdam. In real life, Ajax was starting to fall apart at the organizational level, which is why the team are about to be taken over by the late clubicon Johan Cruijff's son (Jordi Cruijff is to become Director in Fabruary 2026), which most likely will see a change of culture at the club. At Ajax, the penduline always swings between so-called Cruijffistas (the football purists and idealists) and the Louistas (who follow a more militaristic, organizational and disciplinary approach like Louis van Gaal). Only a few can remain neutral and please both camps at the same time: Frank de Boer and Ronald Koeman are good examples of that. So, in this fictional reality we are trying to justify the decisions made by the leadership at the club and prevent this takeover ever from happening..., with yours truly as head coach. At the start of this story, Daniel Marzec (me, but with my mother's surname) is a 43 year old half-Dutch, half-Polish football coach. I am an Ajax-adept through and through and 4-3-3 attacking wing play is almost like a religion to me. How did it come to this? In 2023, the new technical director Sven Mislintat (successor to Marc Overmars who achieved big successes together with manager Erik ten Hag) splashed too much cash for a dozen players that were not worthy of the level that Ajax aspired: the Amsterdam club nosedived into a huge sportive and organizational crisis. Head coach, leadership and Mislintat disappeard before the end of that year. Money ran dry, only a fifth place in the league, so no Champions League. Ajax were bankrupt with no money getting back into the bank. The generation of the successful 1990's took over as interim-leadership in late 2023: Michael van Praag (Ajax chairman 1989-2003), Louis van Gaal (Ajax head coach 1991-1997, technical director 2003-2004) and Danny Blind (Ajax player 1986-1999, Ajax youth coach 2000-2003, Ajax head youth development 2004-2005, Ajax head coach 2005-2006, Ajax technical director (2008-2012) and Ajax Board member (2018-2021; 2023- ) had to put Ajax back on track for the next 2024-2025 season. A new leadership was picked (CEO, Technical Diector, Director of Football and Head of Scouting and Youth Development), heavily leaning on advice of Louis van Gaal and Danny Blind. That new leadership in turn chose Olympique Nice-coach Francesco Farioli as Ajax-coach for the 2024/25-season. The appointment of Farioli appeared to be a success, so much so that after one season he was signed by FC Porto. Though fans and pundits criticized his choice for a very conservative playing style, as well as opting for older, experienced players without a typical Ajax profile (Pasveer, Rugani, Henderson, Berghuis, Weghorst) instead of younger, home-grown players as per the tradition at Ajax. In short, things went wrong (again) when the leadership opted for John Heitinga last summer. As a consequence Heitinga, Kroes, De Lang and three board members including Danny Blind have already departed the once again sinking ship of Ajax. Once Jordi Cruijff gets installed in February 2026, it is expected that Louis van Gaal and his protegé Marijn Beuker will also disappear at Ajax. That's why, in this fictional universe, we rewind the clock back to last summer and instead of John Heitinga they've chosen me as the new head coach of Ajax. The new contract system is very buggy. The latest issue I'm facing is a player with a squad role of 'Important', who is playing every game and the majority of minutes in those games, has requested a transfer as the lack of play time is 'damaging his career'. With no way to negotiate, you're stuck. Steps: Player approached me to sya they weren't sure if they wanted to renew contract as they weren't getting enough games to develop; they would see how this progressed. Player was played in all games for approximately 5-8 games, only substituted on a couple of occassions. Player approached me again, saying their lack of game time is damaging their career and they want me to let him leave. Going into the squad hub and reviewing the players play time status, it has a green 'thumbs up' These contract issues are making career mode really frustrating and it makes it feel not worth the effort to develop players or invest in a career at the moment. This is a relatively severe issue when you can potentially lose your best players for no good reason. It's game breaking. In Career Mode, one of my players keeps saying he’s not getting enough playtime and wants to leave, even though he has started and played in every Bundesliga match so far. He also asked for a contract renewal earlier, but I couldn’t extend it — no option appeared. Since then, his morale dropped and he keeps complaining about game time. It looks like the game doesn’t correctly recognize his playtime. I even started a new Career Mode after the latest update, but the same issue still appears. Just loaded up the game and tried getting into a kickoff match. All settings on auto, vsync on (but I've tried off too). The game is just running incredible slow in matches. Unlike anything I've seen before. FPS is as high as 105, but it's like I'm playing at 0.25x speed. The game is unplayable for me. Anyone experiencing a similar issue?
