Re: FEEDBACK | Offline Gameplay vs. CPU - Fouls
I’ve now played dozens of matches across multiple difficulties, slider settings, and gameplay styles, and the result is always the same: The CPU does not commit a single foul — unless handball is enabled.
No matter how I tweak the sliders or difficulty:
- The CPU never mistimes a tackle.
- They always win the ball cleanly, even from poor defensive positions.
- At the end of every match: 0 CPU fouls, 0 yellow/red cards.
I’ve tested this extensively in FC26, and the same issue was already present in FC25 and earlier titles. This suggests it’s a persistent gameplay flaw, not just a tuning issue.
Fouls are a fundamental part of real football. To give a real-world reference:
In the last Premier League matchday, there were around 15 fouls per game on average.
Removing fouls breaks immersion and realism — it makes set pieces, free kicks, and game flow feel completely artificial. Without fouls, there’s no real sense of physicality or risk in defending.
You (EA) have been creating football games for over 30 years, yet this crucial gameplay mechanic has been missing or broken for multiple releases.
This isn’t a minor tweak — it fundamentally affects realism, tactics, and fun.
Could we please get official acknowledgment that this issue is being investigated?
