When I start a career mode all the players seem to have black boots on and not there original boots they wear when going into a game. Tried clearing cache tried editing manually and they just keep staying to the ea black boots when entering a game. Not sure if anyone else having the same issue.
This happened only on Manager Career Live guys.The original one hasn’t the black boots issue..
SAME ISSUE 5 months later. As someone who really looks for realism in career mode this is literally game breaking for me. Genuinely last time I buy this literal broken game

Same here. EA just doesnt give a **bleep** for career mode players. If they would play career mode to test it they would immediately spot 30 bugs but no. Busy making money with UT. Fore example: cant swap out player on international duty in matchday menu since "hes in the national team". Yeah no **bleep** sherlock then let me SWAP HIM THE HELL OUT. Or even though I disabled the matchday training it still shows the stupid message on matchday. I could go on forever but well.
This has not been solved yet. Is EA paying attention or just completely ignores this and focuses on FUT only? The only boots that work are Adidas F50 Elite Stellar Icon Injection.
It will triggered everytime you press the matchday. For career modes players who wanted to enjoy the i felt such a waste of money of having stupid early access with no new updates for this.
Same issue and it's annoying. I bought this game for career mode and seems to be only in that mode. Haven't tested every mode

I’m currently playing a live career mode and in game all of my players have generic black boots - when I go to edit player to change the the correct boots I then go into the game and they revert back to black boots all the time.

Tested everything and it’s all career modes started on the live section. The original is fine - boots don’t change to black.
I think it has to do with prematch training. Before I could see the boots under edit player, after I finished the first prematch traning, gone.
